Question 1

What is the difference between an LED tri-proof light and an LED explosion-proof light?

Accepted Answer

A tri-proof light is sealed against water, dust and corrosion (typically IP65–IP66) for car parks, cold stores, food plants and warehouses. An explosion-proof light is additionally engineered and certified to prevent ignition of flammable gas or dust, and is specified by hazardous zone, gas group and temperature class for oil & gas, chemical, paint, mining and fuel-storage sites.
